Mariana is a professional viola player at the opera and I observed her one day experimenting with a looper. The sounds overlapping gave me the idea to create a balance act parallel to her music. 

 

The costumes were made according to my specifications and also bows were specially designed and built for this act by a master builder in Cologne.

 

A gripping symbiosis of enchanting live music and meticulous balancing resulted.
